About: The department is Fully Recognized by CPSP FCPS Training Program There are 14 state-of-the-art Operation Theaters where approximately 1000 plus cases are performed every month. The department provides anesthetic service to various multi-disciplinary and sub-specialties. Clinical work may include evening sessions and weekends, apart from the on-call commitment. A consultant is expected to teach, supervise and take part in the department activities. A consultant is expected to be part of clinical audits and quality improvement measures.

1. Senior Consultant Anesthetist

2. Junior Consultant Anesthetist

FRCA/ Diplomat of the American Board in Anaesthetics/ FCPS or equivalent.

3. Senior Registrar Anesthesia

FCPS in Anaesthesiology

4. Medical Officers

MBBS

Qualification and experience required for the following vacant positions and jobs: Full Registration with the PMC/PM&DC. Evidence experience in a variety of in- and out-patient treatment settings. A proven track record in research. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to relate to patients and relatives in a sympathetic manner. Ability to work as an effective member of a multidisciplinary team. Good computer skills, willing and able to take on increasing responsibility with time.
