Positions Announced:
1. Procurement Specialist
Master’s degree or equivalent in Project Management, Contract Administration, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or Engineering from a reputed/recognized university with at least 8 (eight) years of relevant experience. OR Bachelors degree or equivalent in Project Management, Contract Administration, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Public Administration, Engineering or related discipline from a reputed/recognized university with at least 10 (ten) years of relevant experience. At least 5 years experience in procurement of goods/services/works in public sector organizations or donor-funded projects. Knowledge of national/subnational World Bank/International Donor Organization procurement rules and regulations. Extensive knowledge of all procurement and consultancy selection approaches, substantive knowledge of procurement policies, processes, and procedures, and substantial experience in their application for the procurement of a wide range of supplies and services. Experience in contract management of goods and consultancy contracts Prior experience of working in a project funded by World Bank/ multilateral financial institutions is highly desirable.
2. Communication Specialist
Master’s degree/BSc. BS Hons. in Public relations, Communications, marketing. development economics with at least 5 years of relevant work experience in the field of communication, marketing, and/or communications sectors. Excellent communication (oral and written) and presentation skills
3. Environmental, Social Safeguard & Gender Specialist
Master’s degree or equivalent in Environmental Sciences and/i or Social Sciences with at least 8 years of relevant work; experience in dealing with Environmental management and. implementation in development projects. Prior experience of working with donor-funded projects in the relevant field is highly desirable Proven track record in working in organizations covering a broad range of resettlement and social development issues. Good understanding of the World Bank’s / multilateral financial institutions’ operational policies, processes, and procedures including its safeguard policies. Good understanding of the World Bank’s / multilateral financial institutions’ operational policies, processes, and procedures related to the Environment. Demonstrated ability to work independently with limited supervision on a wide range of environmental activities, and achieved results with agreed-upon objectives and deadlines. Strong English communication skills, both written and oral.
4. Information & Communication Technology Specialist ICT
Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science / Information Technology from a reputed/recognized university with at least 8. (eight) years of relevant work experience. OR Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science / Information Technology from a reputed/recognized university with at least 10 (ten) years of relevant work experience. Experience in designing large ICT-based automation systems. Knowledge of government procedures and systems will be an: asset.
