Positions Announced:

1. Project Director

Ph.D. (Microbiology, Biotechnology, or Biochemistry or in any other relevant field) with 10 years of relevant experience in projects. preferably in fermentation processes, etc. He/ She will be the lead person responsible for managing the execution of the PCSIR component of the project and will be responsible for coordinating and implementing the scope of the project component under the overall guidance of the Chairman. At least 15 research papers/publications/ patents published in reputable journals and magazines are preferred.

2. Consultant

Ph.D. (Industrial Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Fermentation technology, or in any other relevant field) with 10 years of relevant experience in science & technology projects. He/ She will be responsible for the commercialization of products that will be developed through local R&D and emphasize the Government to support knowledge-based economy initiatives and provide support to the private industry conducting research, design, and development activities under the overall guidance of the Project Director. At least 15 research papers/ publications/ patents published in reputable journals and magazines are preferred.

3. Principal Scientific Officer

Ph.D. (Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical sciences, Industrial microbiology, Fermentation technology or in any other relevant field) with 05 years post qualification relevant experience in private/public sector organization institute or M.Phil MS (Biochemistry. Pharmaceutical sciences, Industrial microbiology, Fermentation technology or in any other relevant field) with 07 years post qualification relevant experience in private/public sector organization/institute; having at least 02 Fist Classes in an academic career without any third division. He/ She will be responsible for conducting research, design, and development activities of PCSIR’s component for biocatalysts development of Anti-cancer/ anti-tumor, Antibiotics, Immuno-modulatory agents and Vitamin B12, etc. under the guidance and as assigned by the Project Director. At least 05 research papers/publications/ patents published in reputable journals, and magazines are preferred.

4. Sr. Scientific Officer

Ph.D. (Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical sciences, Industrial microbiology, Fermentation technology, or in any other relevant field) or MS/MPhil (Chemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology/ Pharmaceutical Sciences, or in any other relevant field) with 2-3 years of relevant research experience.

5. Scientific Officer

MSc/ MPhil (Natural Sciences) preferably with relevant research experience.

6. Lab Attendants

14 years of education preferable with relevant experience.
