Positions Announced:
1. Pakistan Chair
Ph. D Degree from a recognized University / Institution in Urdu Language and Literature, The Associate Professor At least five (05) years post-Ph.D and/or at least 10 years of teaching/research experience in a recognized university / Centre Research Organization. At least Ten (10) Research Publications with at least 4 publications in the last 5 years in the HEC recognized journals The Professor: At least ten (10) years post Ph.D. and/or at least 15 years of teaching/research experience in a recognized. University / Centre Research Organization. At least fifteen (15) Research Publications with at least 5 publications in the last 5 years in the HEC recognized journals.
Requirements: Persons up to a maximum of 62 years of age as of the closing date of the advertisement will be eligible. No relaxation in the upper age limit will be allowed. Having recognized publications in Urdu Literature. Familiarity with the Persian Language is preferable. Familiarity with the culture, institutions, and people of the host country. Capacity and competence of leadership to project the language, history, and culture of Pakistan in the host country. Experience in mentoring, advocacy, communication, organizational (government / semi-government at senior), budget management, research grants, diplomatic, and media relations as spokesperson and demonstrated involvement in academic staff associations, etc. Membership of professional or academic bodies, supported by documentary evidence. Research leading to quality publications during the tenure abroad is desirable. Proficiency in computer skills and interpersonal skills.
