Positions Announced:
1. Chief Executive Officer
Responsibilites: The candidate should have a complete understanding of legislative, community relationships, and corporate social responsibility essential for the company’s growth. On selection as CEO, in addition to the responsibilities as specified in the State-Owned Enterprises (Governance & Operations), Act 2023, and SECP applicable Act/Rules, his/her Annual Performance Evaluation will be measured as per Performance Based Contract.
Eligibility: The candidate must have at least any one of the following qualifications: i. A Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical/ Mechatronics) must be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC); OR ii. Fellow Member of a recognized body of Professional Accountants (ICAP / ICMAP or others) In case, the candidate? qualification is falling under serial No. an (i) above, He/She should be financially literate with proven credentials. In case, the candidates’ qualifications is falling under serial No. a(ii) above, He/She should be well conversant with the power generation project implantation and its operations with proven credentials. Additional qualification i.e., Master in Finance/MBA is highly desirable. The candidate must have at least 20 years overall experience, out of which 10 years of demonstrated experience should be as a Chief Executive Officer or a Senior Management Level position(s) in the Power Generation Sector. The candidate should be compliant with the ‘Fit and Proper Criteria’ as mentioned in State-Owned Enterprises (Governance & Operations), Act 2023. The age of the candidate should not be more than 62 years as of the last date of submission of the application.
