Positions Vacant: 

1. Director-General National Institute of Oceanography (NIO), Karachi

Pay Scale / Pay & Allowances: Equivalent to BS – 20 / 21

Qualification / Experience required for the job: Eminent Scientist / Engineer. Ph.D. in the relevant subject preferable. 15 years of post Ph.D. experience in the relevant field. Admin and Executive capability. Ability to guide research in Oceanology. At least 8 Research Publications in reputable Scientific / Research Journals etc. Experience in Administration / Financial / Executive Management has the ability to guide research in oceanography.

Tenure / Duration of the job: 3 years contract
