Positions Vacant: 

1. Legal Advisor 

Qualification and experience required for the following position: Bachelor Degree in Law (LL.B) or equivalent from any reputed local or foreign university recognized from HEC, leading to admission to practice in Pakistan, Candidates, Post Graduate Degree in Petroleum Laws. Policy and Contracts will be preferred. Minimum 10 years relevant experience in Energy Sector. Sound in-depth and practical knowledge and understanding of all Pakistan Petroleum Exploration and Production laws, rules, policies, and relevant contracts e.g Petroleum Concession Agreements, Joint Operating Agreements, Production Sharing Agreements, and Joint Venture Agreements,
Sound in-depth and practical knowledge and understanding of all LPG / LNG policies of Pakistan. Expertise in LNG/LPG-related matters/disputes in any UNG service company, LNG Supplier, Regulator, or law firm. The candidate must hold a valid practicing license to appear before all High Courts in Pakistan. Sound In-depth, practical knowledge and understanding of the constitutional jurisdiction of the High Courts, civil procedure, evidence, local arbitration laws, and the laws and treaties governing foreign investment in Pakistan. Comprehensive knowledge of the international arbitration laws and rules including ICC, LCIA, UNCITRAL, PCA, SLAC, and ISCID arbitration rules and principles of Public International Law. Familiarity with the potential of & gas disputes and emerging industry issues and methods commonly employed for efficient and expeditious resolution. Experience in Company law, Corporate Governance, Corporate Finance, and Corporate Transaction matters and must be well conversant with the Company laws, SECF rules and regulations, and Stock Exchange laws.
