Ministry of Energy Internship Program 2021

The Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division) has initiated an internship program to provide exposure to fresh graduates in upstream and downstream sectors of the petroleum industry. Application is invited from fresh bachelors’/masters’ degree holders for 6 months (non-extendable) internship program designed for imparting practical training to the educated youth for enhancing their knowledge and skills. The positions available are mentioned below. No job will be offered and interns will stand released upon completion of the internship. The Certificates will be issued by the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division) on successful completion of the program. In case of any false/forged information provided in the application/documents, we reserve the right to disqualify the candidature at any stage even after enrolment of the internship. Positions Vacant: 

1. Petroleum / Chemical / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering

The number of vacant positions: 8 (2 each)

2. Geology / Geophysics

The number of vacant positions: 6 (3 each)

3. Environmental/ Civil Engineering

The number of vacant positions: 4 (2 each)

4. Energy Economics

The number of vacant positions: 2 positions

5. Finance / IT / Human Resource / Law

The number of vacant positions: 4 (1 each)

Qualification and eligibility criteria required for the following vacant positions: CGPA must be 3.0 or above in the final degree. 75% marks and above where CGPA is not applicable.

Degrees of HEC recognized Universities will be considered only. The interns will be paid a monthly stipend of Rs. 45,000/- all-inclusive. The written test will be conducted (of the top 200 candidates based on eligibility criteria) for the enrolment of interns entirely on merit.
