Age limit required for the job: Maximum 55 years
Qualification / Experience required for the job: B.Sc Civil Engineering. Minimum 10 years of experience in construction work. At least work in 2 similar projects as Project Director.
Job Description:
Ensure the hiring of PMU staff in due time and operationalize the site office at the earliest possible time. Prepare the project work plan and cash plan. Coordinate with consultants in the finalization of drawings/designs and ensures its strict implementation. Preparation of construction schedule to meet the completion time. Assessment of cost estimates submitted by the consultant as per the approved scope of PC-I. Approval of all preliminary drawings from the competent authority its implementation. Monitor the project construction schedule on a weekly basis and submit progress reports. Resolve issues if any arises at the construction site in consultation with the consultant. Ensure the quality of work at the site as per the specifications. Ensure procurement strictly in line with the procurement rules. Ensures payment in a transparent manner on a work done basis after meeting the standard specifications. Prepare the project plans, schedules, and specifications and comment on the building design, scheduling, possible cost savings measures, and potential construction problems. Assist in assembling the job site office and equipment requirements. Have confidence in my own ability to intelligently communicate with the design team/client as well as effectively lead the trades. Raise and discuss relevant issues at the job site meetings, Prepare and issue minutes of all site meetings.
