About Us:
PIPOS (Pakistan Institute of Prosthetic and Orthotic Sciences) previously called PETCO (Peshawar Training Center for Orthopaedic Technologist) was mounted in 1981 below the bilateral assistance co-operation software between GTZ Germany and N.W.F.P Pakistan. PIPOS emerged from a small workshop installed in the basement of Khyber teaching hospital (KTH) for the rehabilitation /treatment of battle-wounded sufferers stricken by the Afghan war within the 1980s. Looking into the pressing need for rehabilitation offerings and the non-availability of technically trained human resources in the vicinity, PIPOS evolved into a center of excellence awarding 04 years of schooling main to a B.Sc. Degree from the University of Peshawar in 1988.
Besides education and schooling, PIPOS presents rehabilitation offerings to orthopedically and neurologically disable through assistive gadgets (Prostheses & Orthoses) and physiotherapy offerings.

Qualification / Experience: BS in Prosthetic & Orthotic Sciences from HEC recognized university. Preference will be given to candidates having relevant experience.
