Positions Announced:
1. Regional Head – Distribution & Development
Qualification and experience required for the following vacant position: Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree. (Area of specialization: Sales. Business Development, Marketing/ Management)
12 – 15 years of experience in business development, managing sales teams, tracking performance, relationship building, customer service preferably in Insurance, Takaful, Banking & other NBFIs
Excellent Interpersonal Skills with a high achievement drive. Proficient leadership and team management skills. Excellent business target achievement track record. Sound understanding of General Insurance/Takaful Business Model.
Duties / Responsibilities: Provide leadership to senior Branch Heads in the region in acquiring profitable business from established firms – fire/motor/marine/miscellaneous /health. Develop teams of producers in assigned region(s). Plan sales activities in the assigned regions using a data-driven approach – assess business opportunities according to zones/territories/industrial areas in cities. Carry out effective sales pipeline management Use sales activity tracking/management system to set goals/track achievement and activity levels. Track lead- generation to the business closing process. Forecast annual/quarterly/monthly sales. Educate and develop sales team with presentations of strategies, seminars, and regular. planned meetings. Adhere to all sales systems – operational, underwriting compliance guidelines and ensure data accuracy in reporting Ensure timely and effective customer services through Operations team by developing and maintaining strategic relationships with clients and industry organizations Responsible for overall customer services mechanism in the region in dose collaboration with the Operations team
