The U.S. Consul General in Karachi, Pakistan is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the contract staff position of Bearer (House Staff). Position Announced:

1. Bearer (House Staff)

Position Requirement: The incumbent will be assisting in the following tasks. Meet and greet guests at events and functions. Serve food and beverages. Set up functions and events, which may include setting up tables and moving furniture, among other duties. Support the chef in the kitchen during large events. Clean up after events, including washing dishes, glasses, cooking utensils, silverware, and anything else necessary. Clean all areas of the residence. Launder and iron clothing and bedding, as needed. Observe and report any needed repairs to the Residence Manager. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirement: The candidate should have completed eight years of education with a minimum of two years of experience in hospitality service, housekeeping, house staff, or restaurant work. Incumbents must be able to speak and understand basic English Language. All candidates under consideration will be required to pass medical and security certifications.
