Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences FMTI is a leading Federal Medical Teaching Institute (PIMS-FMTI), and the largest tertiary care hospital in Islamabad with 4,200 employees, 1,300 beds, and over 27 disciplines. In order to implement the vision of the Government to provide quality healthcare facilities to the public, applications are invited for the following posts of Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor Senior Registrar. Selected candidates for faculty positions will be expected to function as consultants to the Hospital in their respective disciplines.
Positions Announced:
1. Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Senior Registrar
Medicine & Allied: General Medicine with experience in endocrinology, Neonatology, Psychiatry, Pulmonology, Rheumatology, Nuclear Medicine, and Emergency Medicine (Consultant & Administrative).
Surgery & Allied: Anesthesia, General Surgery (Renal Transplant Surgeon), Urology.
REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS FOR FACULTY POSITIONS:
MBBS, FCPS, MRCP, FRCS, CCTICCST, American Board Certification/Diplomas, etc, or equivalent qualification in the specialty mentioned and recognized by the Pakistan Medical Council (PMC). Applicants must meet PMC and FMTI Criteria for selection.
2. Charge Nurses
QUALIFICATION FOR CHARGE NURSE: (1) 03 years Diploma in General Nursing. (ii) 01-year Diploma in Midwifery & valid Registration with Pakistan Nursing Council. (iii) 01 year in any post-basic specialty in Nursing OR (iv) Generic B.Sc. & valid Registration with Pakistan Nursing Council
