Positions Vacant: 

1. Professors (BS-20)

Forensic Medicine
Pharmacology
Physiology
Biochemistry
Orthopedic Surgery
6. Gastroenterology

Qualification / Experience: MBBS or an equivalent medical qualification recognized by the PMDC and the following post-graduate qualifications in the subject:- D.Sc. Ph.D., M.D. MPhil (Pak); or equivalent qualification recognized by the PMDC. Credit will be given for original research work published in a standard medical journal and teaching experience in a recognized institution. (ii) 3 years teaching experience as Associate Professor/ provided that the total teaching experience as Assistant/ Associate Professor is not less than 8 years OR 9 years teaching experience as an Assistant Professor in the subject in a recognized institution and at least 5 research papers published in a standard medical journal while working as Assistant Associate Professor.

Clinical Sciences Departments: (i) MBBS or equivalent medical qualifications recognized by the PMDC and the following post-graduate qualifications in the respective specialty:-1. FCPS or 2. M.S. M.D equivalent qualification in the respective specialty recognized by PMDC.

2. Associate Professors (BS-19)

Qualification / Experience: MBBS or an equivalent medical qualification recognized by the PMDC and the following post-graduate qualifications in the subject:- D.Sc., Ph.D., M.D. M.Phil (Pak); or equivalent qualification recognized by the PMDC. Credit will be given for original research work published in a standard medical journal and teaching experience in a recognized institution. (ii) If none with the above qualifications is available then:- Post-Graduate Minor Diploma in the subject recognized by the PMDC and 3 years teaching experience as Demonstrator. Credit will be given for original research work published in a standard medical journal. (iii) Five years of teaching experience as Assistant Professor in the subject in recognized Institution and at least 3 research papers published in a standard medical journal while working as Assistant Professor. (iv) If none available with above qualifications then:-As prescribed in clause (ii) for initial recruitment to the post of Assistant Professor and 7 years experience as Assistant Professor and at least 05 research papers published in a standard medical journal while working as Assistant Professor.

3. Assistant Professors (BS-18)

Anatomy
Ophthalmology

Qualification / Experience: MBBS or an equivalent medical qualification recognized by the PMDC and the following post-graduate qualifications in the subject:- D.Sc. Ph.D. M.D. M.Phil (Pak); or equivalent qualification recognized by the PMDC. Credit will be given for original research work published in a standard medical journal and teaching experience in a recognized institution. (ii) If none with the above qualifications is available then:- Post-Graduate Minor Diploma in the subject recognized by the PMDC and 3 years teaching experience as Demonstrator. Credit will be given for original research work published in a standard medical journal.

Clinical Sciences Departments; (i) MBBS or equivalent medical qualifications recognized by the PMDC and the following post-graduate qualifications in the subject/ specialty:- 1. FCPS (Ophthalmology) or 2 MS (Ophthalmology) equivalent qualification in the specialty recognized by PMDC.
