Positions Vacant:

1. DIVISIONAL HEAD – SYSTEMS AND SOLUTIONS

Reports to: Directly Reporting to the Group Chief – Technology & Digitization

Qualification and Experience required for the job: Minimum 4 years Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering. Information Technology or a related field. Preference will be given to candidates having an MS Degree with technology-related emphasis. Minimum 15 years’ experience across Technology Solutions Delivery, Software Development and Systems Implementation in Banking or related sectors. More than 5 years of senior technology leadership roles within Banking or related sectors inspiring and motivating staff and engaging company boards and board members. More than 5 years as part of large, cross-functional teams influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders across the organization in complex contexts.

Duties/ Responsibilities: To ensure compliance in letter and spirit of ETGRMF (Issued vide BPRD Circular No 05 dated May 30. 2017) through the adoption of best-in-class technology governance and risk management processes, controls and tools at the foundation level To foster a Risk Intelligent Culture driven by understanding the value of effective risk management and governance; assuming responsibility for the management of risk, enhancing the collective ability of the group to manage risk through continuous improvement. To guide the IT Systems and Solutions portfolio of projects throughout their life cycle. including requirements management, resources planning. prioritization. budget monitoring, clients’ expectation management. system design, change management, contingency planning, risk assessment, and mitigation. To oversee the formulation of strategy development and technology roadmap, and to ensure alignment across all functional units and tight alignment with business groups. To drive delivery of new technology initiatives through a combination of outsourced software implementation and internal services integration and/or development To oversee and direct large and complex application software implementation throughout the firm including negotiations and mediating scope and discussions with business groups and vendors To provide strategic direction and leadership for the delivery of products and solutions by leading roadmap discussions with teams and creating IT/Business Roadmaps and through activities to align Business. IT. industry strategies and market trends. To ensure high standards of strategic and architectural practices. To identify, prioritize and schedule projects to meet IT planning objectives in coordination with the Group Chief within the context of the IT strategy. To make clear, simple, and technically sound design decisions
