Positions Announced:
1. Chief Engineer (Material Inspection)
Qualification: Candidate must possess a minimum BSc/BE degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering from any approved university and be registered as a professional Engineer with PEC. Experience:
The candidate must possess at least 20 years of experience in BPS-19 /equivalent or above in the power sector and must have: i. Firm grip on all latest WAPDA/NTDC specifications related to electrical equipment/material being procured by DISCOs/other agencies ii. In-depth knowledge of up-to-date relevant standards like IEC, IEEE, ANSI, and other applicable standards. iii. Sufficient knowledge of the manufacturing process of distribution transformers, energy meters, switchgear, cable/conductor, steel structures, PC spun poles, and other hardware items. iv. Ample technical and administrative knowledge and experience to ensure the quality of electrical distribution equipment/material. v. Good knowledge of maintaining and upkeep of inspection records i.e. ICs, routine tests, Type tests, and prototype testing. vi. Adequate knowledge of finance, budgeting, and revenue. vii. High level of interpersonal skills to address the genuine grievances of manufacturers without compromising quality. Masters in Electrical / Electronics Engineering, MBA & certificate in Quality Management will be an added qualification. Age limit: 62 years. Pay Package: PPMC Scales (P-5).
