1. Manager (Business Development)
QUALIFICATION:
Bachelor of Engineering (04 years) registered with PEC or MBA or M.Sc/ BS (Geology) with in-depth knowledge of business development, negotiations, commercial agreements, joint ventures, relationship management, and a good knowledge of technical areas related to the energy industry with reference of international business development/ commercial experience.
EXPERIENCE:
14 years of relevant post-qualification experience in line with the Business Strategy. Key responsibilities include: • To identify, pursue and evaluate new business development opportunities for OGDCL. These may include E&P assets/ company acquisitions, exploration farm-ins/farm-outs as well as cross-segment opportunities within Pakistan as well as the rest of the world. • To lead negotiations for farm-in/farm-out with international E&P Companies. • To review and evaluate international business opportunities in coordination with other departments. Pursue efforts to have partnerships with local multinational companies for joint collaboration in the area of oil and gas exploration. To stay current on Pakistan’s energy market and key developments. Maintain liaison with outside parties for data and market intelligence. To develop and deliver management presentations.
