Balochistan Mineral Resource Limited (BMRL) is a public sector company formed by the Government of Balochistan with a vision to attract national/international investment and unlock and utilize the resource potential in the mineral-rich province of Balochistan. BMRL is looking for a high caliber professional for appointment on merit to the position of Managing Director / Chief Executive Officer based in Quetta. This position is open for Pakistanis as well as expatriates. Only short-listed candidates will be called for interview. Qualification / Experience required for the job: Minimum Qualification is MS in Geology / Geosciences or Masters/bachelors in Engineering (preferably in mining, chemical & metallurgy discipline) or Masters in Business Administration from a university recognized by Higher Education Commission (HEC). However, preference will be given to Ph.D. and Foreign Qualified in the relevant field. Minimum of 15 years’ work experience in relevant professional areas including at least eight (8) years at senior management position (preference would be given to candidates possessing experience in the mining sector of Pakistan or abroad. Age Limit is up to sixty – five (65) years as on the last date for submission of applications. Market based negotiable salary and perks including performance/success based incentives. The selected candidate will be appointed on a contract basis for a term of three (3) years, extendable on mutually agreed terms and conditions.
