Positions Announced:
1. Dean Bannu Medical College Bannu
The Dean will be a medical academic with either a Ph-D degree or a medical qualification such as MBBS or equivalent, plus o higher Diploma, such as FCPS, FRCP, FRCS, or a US Board Certification or equivalent. The Dean will be of National and, preferably, international reputation in his/ her field, which may be in the basic or clinical sciences, with at least 7 years of administrative experience as head of the department, unit, program, or institution, with recognized leadership qualities, a track record in teaching, and a commitment to medical education and research.
Responsibilities: The Dean shall be head of BMC. He/She shall be responsible for all undergraduate and Postgraduate Medical Teaching and research and shall report to the Board. He will be responsible for budgetary and financial matters relating to the college. The Dean will select from the faculty as Associate Dean for undergraduate education, and Associate Dean for postgraduate education, to be approved by the Board and designated as such, provided that Dean may not simultaneously hold the position of Dean and Associate Dean Shall be advised by on academic council, of which he/she shall be chairperson and which shall consist of the Chairman or heads of teaching departments at the medical college, or professors, and the Associate Deans. The Dean shall act In close liaison with the Hospital & Medical Directors in all matters related to technical faculty. Any other function assigned by the Board.
