Positions Announced:
1. Professor BPS / TTS
Any field of geology but preference will be given to the fields of Economic Geology, Structural Geology and Tectonics, Hydrogeology, Micro-paleontology, GIS and Remote Sensing application to Geosciences, Geophysics’ application for mineral exploration.
2. Associate Professor BPS / TTS
Any field of geology but preference will be given to the fields of Economic Geology, Structural Geology and Tectonics, Hydrogeology, Micropaleontology, GIS and Remote Sensing application to Geosciences, Geophysics’ application for mineral exploration.
3. Assistant Professor BPS / TTS
Only the candidates having PhD degrees in the fields of Economic Geology, Hydrogeology, Micropaleontology, Structural Geology and Tectonics, GIS, and Remote Sensing application to Geosciences and Geophysics are eligible to apply.

Interested individuals who meet the criteria can obtain Employment Forms from the website of the Centre of Excellence in Mineralogy, University of Balochistan, Quetta (http://cem.uob.edu.pk). The candidates for the post of Assistant Professor are required to submit 02 sets of applications in the shape of a dossier along with all testimonials. While the candidate for the slot of Professor and Associate Professor should submit 05 sets of applications in the shape of a dossier, along with a CV, the first page of research publications in HEC recognized Journals in the relevant field, 05 photographs, and attested copies of academic degrees and other credentials in the Centre of Excellence in Mineralogy, UoB, Quetta. Experience Certificates as per CV must be attached with the application form. Applicants already in service should apply through the proper channel along with NOC issued by their parent departments by the due date otherwise their applications will not be entertained. The application processing fee for each position is Rs.5000/- (Non-Refundable) which can be submitted through Challan available in the Office of Superintendent (Admin Section of the Centre) or can be deposited in the shape of Bank Draft in the name of the Director, Centre of Excellence in Mineralogy, University of Balochistan, Quetta. Applications may be delivered, during office hours, personally or by post to the Director, Centre of Excellence in Mineralogy within due dates: The last date for submission of the application form is 15th July 2022.
