Positions Vacant: 

1. Chief Technology Officer

Qualification and experience required for the job: Candidate must have a Master’s degree from a reputable local or international university. The candidate should have at least 20 Years of experience in the field of IT with the last role as a CTO reporting to the President & CEO. The candidate must have at least 10 years of work experience in banking at a senior level and should have handled working with the Board of Directors.

Duties / Responsibilities:

• The primary responsibility is to run and manage the overall Information Technology function and IT related projects of the bank. In addition, the incumbent will also be required to develop and execute the technology-related organization-wide strategy in line with the growth plans of the bank

• Design and execute business continuity plans with all relevant stakeholders.

• Plan, initiate, and manage Information Technology related projects. Monitor progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met.

• To provide strategic and operational direction for running the technology function of the bank that includes IT infrastructure, network services, applications, change delivery, as well as the overall process and governance framework.

• To evaluate overall operations of computing and Information Technology functions, recommend & drive improvements.

• Develop, track, and control the technology department’s operating and capital budget.

• Optimizing and managing the technology network in a manner that delivers high efficiency with resilience and cost-effectiveness.

• To lead technology in assisting the organization in achieving business goals. • Ensure that the IT department operates in compliance with the overall internal and external compliance framework, guidelines, regulations.

• To oversee & lead complex application software implementation throughout the bank.

• Develop, maintain, and review the overall framework of IT policies, procedures, standards, and strategies to support the business to deliver value.
