Selection shall be made on an Adhoc basis for the period of one year extendable on the basis of the satisfactory performance or till the arrival of the regular incumbent. Preference will be given to candidates having experience in cardiac hospitals. General relaxation in the upper age limit shall be given according to Govt policy. Candidates who are Govt servants / working in autonomous institutions should apply through the proper channels. The applicant must have Punjab Domicile. The provincial quotas shall be applicable for the above-mentioned posts @ 15% for women, 5% for minorities & disable persons. Candidates with higher qualifications/experience will be preferred. Positions Announced:
1. Associate Professor of Cardiology
Eligibility Criteria: MBBS or equivalent Medica! A qualification recognized by PMC. Postgraduate higher degree in the respective field i.e.
FCPS, MS, FRCP, MRCP, Diplomat American Board or equivalent qualification recognized and approved for the post by PMC. Must have produced at least 3 research papers. Only an original article published in a medical journal approved by the PMC shall be acceptable. Five years of teaching experience as an assistant professor in the respective field.
2. Assistant Professor Paeds Cardiac Surgery
Eligibility: MBBS or equivalent Medical Qualification recognized by PMC. Postgraduate higher degree in the respective field i.e.
FCPS, MS, FRCP, MRCP, Diplomat American Board or equivalent qualification recognized and approved for the post by PMC. Three years experience in the respective subject in a recognized institution if qualification is general. No experience is required in the case of a sub-specialty.
