Positions Vacant:
1. Research Associate
Qualification required for the following vacant position: MSc (Hons) Plant Breeding & Genetics. There should be no 3rd division in the academic career. Only the candidates having M.Sc. (Hons.) PBG and age between 21-30 years will be considered. Five years general relaxations in the upper age limit will be granted as per Government of the Punjab S&GAD Circular letter No.SOR-1 (S&GAD) 9-36/81, dated 04-11-2006.
Name and Title of the project: Weed management in chickpea through the identification of post-emergent herbicide and development of herbicide-tolerant genotypes. (PARB-Project No. 909)
Duration and Nature of the job: The Research Associate shall be appointed on a contract basis for one year which may be extended on yearly basis for the project period (up to 30.09.2022) on satisfactory annual performance to be appraised by the project manager.
