A public sector company is looking for an ambitious and self-driven Chief Operating Officer (C00) to join its team. The COO is a crucial member of the senior management team and reports to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). In this role, we need a senior leader with excellent communication skills, business acumen, and an outstanding work ethic.

1. Chief Operating Officer
Key Responsibilities: While the position is primarily responsible for overseeing the support functions of the company and the effective implementation of operational, administrative, and financial policies and procedures across the organization, he/she would also act as the trusted partner and advisor to the CEO and ensure that the support and business functions are completely aligned.
Experience and Qualifications: We require a leader with a collaborative management style with a minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in a support function with a reputable corporate, financial, or public sector institution, including 4 years in a senior management role of managing support function. The candidate must possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to deliver in a deadline-driven environment. Applicants must possess a full-time Master’s degree in Business Administration, or Finance from an HEC-recognized university, or a Chartered Accountancy qualification from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP). Foreign, relevant qualifications will be considered an added advantage. The position is based in Karachi. Selected candidates would be offered a market-based compensation package and other perks and benefits commensurate with qualifications and experience.
