Positions Announced:
1. Project Director
Bachelor in Civil Engineering from HEC recognized University/Institute. Candidates holding Masters in Irrigation & Hydraulics /Water Resources Planning & Management or Degree in Project Management will be given preference. Minimum 15 years post-qualification working experience in project management and implementation/execution of large water /irrigation / hydraulic projects with 5 years in a senior-level position. Civil Servants shall be eligible to compete for the Project Director positions, and on appointment will apply for a year’s leave from service. Can demonstrate excellent financial. technical, procurement, and management skills. Strong communication skills, with good expertise in the use of information technology skills. Be fluent in written and oral English and Urdu.
Note: The Project Director shall be responsible for implementing the project as per the guidelines prescribed by the Government and shall report to the Secretary of Irrigation, Government of Sindh. The selected candidate shall be offered a salary package, perks, and privileges as per the existing policy of the Government of Sindh. The initial contract period will be for two (02) years extendable on subject to satisfactory performance. The initial contract & extension are limited till project completion. Retired officers shall require prior permission from the Government (Establishment Division/ Defense Division / SGA&CD) without any exception. The candidate shall possess the Domicile/ PRC of the Sindh Province. The maximum age of the candidate shall not be more than 63 years on the closing date of the application.
