Positions Announced:
1. Water Resources Specialist
Qualification and experience required: B.Sc in Civil Engineering with 10 years of experience out of which at least 05 years should be in planning, management and development of water resources OR M.Sc in Civil Engineering/ Water Resources Engineering/Integrated Water Resources Management with at least 03 years of experience in planning, management and development of water resources; Fluency in English is mandatory which shall be assessed by reports prepared by the candidate; Familiarity with project planning, scheduling and management techniques, flow measurements, groundwater level observations, installation and O&M of hydro-meteorological observation networks, and hydrological and hydraulic modeling techniques; Familiarity with spate and perennial irrigation systems; Sound understanding of IWRM principles, particular the nexus among various fields of water use and the crucial role played by an intensive consultation process with all stakeholders; Awareness of Pakistan’s national water resources development strategy; Experience in the socio-economic development sector of Balochistan is desirable
