Our client, EXIM Bank has been established by the Government of Pakistan under the Export-Import Bank of Pakistan Act, 2022 as a Development Financial Institution (DFl) as per the Banking Companies Ordinance
1962. EXIM Bank is the official export credit agency of the country to support, develop, and promote International trade and Pakistan’s competitiveness in the international marketplace by providing trade
financing, trade credit insurance, credit guarantees, equity participation, and related trade services to exporters and importers. EXIM Bank intends to appoint a President/Chief Executive Officer, to be based in Islamabad. Candidates meeting the following criteria may apply.
Positions Announced:
1. President / Chief Executive Officer
Master’s or a higher degree in Banking, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Commerce, or other fields relevant to the core business of EXIM Bank, from an HEC-recognized local/foreign university/institution At least 20 years of banking/finance experience, of which five years should be in senior leadership roles in financial institutions. Preference may be given to the candidate having experience in trade finance or working at an Export Credit Agency (ECAVYEXIM Bank. A sound knowledge of ECA, focal compliance, regulations for DFls, EXIM Bank business model, products, and services are desirable. Excellent written and verbal communication skills

State Bank of Pakistan. The appointment will be for a term of three (3) years and is extendable in accordance with the provisions of section 15 of the Act., and in accordance with the Corporate Governance Regulatory Framework of the State Bank of Pakistan.
