The Higher Education Commission of Pakistan is an apex national body to promotes higher education in the country, by ensuring quality, and standards. and equitable access to Higher Education (HEC). HEC is responsible for formulating higher education policy and quality assurance to meet the international standards as well as providing accreditation of academic degrees, developing new institutions, and uplifting existing institutions in Pakistan. We are inviting applications for the Chairman HEC to lead the Commission.

1. Chairperson
The potential candidate must be a person of international eminence with several years of experience in higher education, preferably in the management of Higher Education Institutes organizations/think tanks. He/She/They must be well versed in the area of academics, research, administration/management, policy formulation, having experience of teaching at (a) prestigious University(ies), and proven leadership abilities. The suitable candidate must be a self-driven, committed, and highly professional person to ensure the achievement of HEC goals. The appointment will be for a period of two (02) years. Interested candidates must have at least 20 years of relevant experience with a Ph.D. from a recognized leading institution.
