Positions Announcement:
1. Coordination Officer TORs
Coordinate with line departments and consolidate risks and issues mapping, updating mitigation measures, following up on the change log, and highlighting any critical issues identified to P&DD GB, GLOF-II PMU, and PIU. I) Quarterly presentation to PIU and PMU for progress and issues faced during the reporting period. Identifies opportunities for Improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change. k) Any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Qualification, Experience, and Skills: A Bachelor’s degree or Equivalent in International Development, Public Relations, Communications, Social Sciences, Project Management, and/or other related fields. At least 01 years of relevant professional experience working with public sector organizations, the UN, and/or international or non-governmental organizations.
2. Training Officer TORs
Prepare a report at the end of the missions covering the work undertaken, the results of evaluations, and giving recommendations for further training and follow-up to provide for retention of learning. Perform any other duty relevant to the project as may be assigned by the DG GBDMA, Deputy Director, and AD GBDMA.
Qualification, Experience, and Skills: • A Bachelor’s degree with a specialization in Business Administration / Rural Development/ Social Sciences or related fields. • Previous experience in providing training to CBDRMCs or their equivalent. Experience of training in the area nominated in paragraphs two and three of the tasks listed above. • Minimum of 1 year of work experience in the field of Disaster Management and Community Development Issues in developing countries. • Willingness to undertake field visits and interact with different stakeholders, especially primary stakeholders; • Computer skills and skills in the delivery of training using computer-based presentation.
