A Modaraba Management Company (owned and managed by a prime public sector financial institution) running a Modaraba is looking for a dynamic and result-oriented professional with a proven track record for the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in Lahore. The selected candidate will have the responsibility for the overall management of Modaraba Company and Modaraba in line with policy directives of the Board of Directors. It is a challenging job that provides opportunities to turn around the organization as the Modaraba is under restructuring due to impending legal action by SECP.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE CRITERIA: Academic: Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university/institution in Business Administration. finance. marketing, economics, or related disciplines. Preference will be given to Chartered Accountants / Candidates holding Master’s Degrees in the above fields. 15 years of relevant work experience in NBFIs/Islamic Banking/ Modaraba with at least two years of experience in a senior position. The minimum experience required in Islamic Banking/Modaraba is 3 years. Proficient in dealing with the regulatory authorities along with in-depth knowledge of Corporate Credit, Islamic Financing, litigation & recoveries. The maximum age limit for the selected candidate is 60 years (relaxable in case of deserving/suitable candidate), subject to good health and ability to handle the job. Appointment of the selected candidate will be on a contract basis for up to 3 years.
