Positions Announced:
1. RECTOR
Duties and Responsibilities: The Rector, as the academic and administrative head of PIEAS, will provide dynamic leadership in planning, managing, and realization of excellence in education, research, and development activities.
Qualification required for the following vacant position and job: Preferably a Ph.D. in Engineering or Applied Sciences.
Experience required for the following vacant position and job: More than 20 years of experience in Academic and Research activities with at least 5 years In Higher Education Management role(s) preferably in BPS-21/SPS-12 or equivalent. Preferably a first-class academic career, however, the one-second division may be allowed except in the final degree. Preferably, fifteen research publications with at least five publications in the last five years in HEC recognized journals.
Age limit required for the following vacant position: Upper age limit is 60 years, which may be relaxed in outstanding/deserving cases.
Nature of the appointment: The appointment shall be on a contract basis for an initial term of three years. The contract will be extendable subject to performance.
