Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC) invites applications from eligible full-time Ph.D. scholars of provincially chartered universities of Punjab for the award of International Research Support Fellowship in Humanities & Management Sciences Science & Technology and for a period of six months in the top 200 QS world universities general ranking of 2023.

Positions Available:

1. International Research Support Fellowship Phase IV

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

The eligible candidate must have

1. Domicile from any district of Punjab.

2. Maximum 45 years of age on the closing date of application.

3. Enrolled in a Ph.D. program of any public/private sector university of Punjab and should have completed coursework.

4. Applied after 1.5 years of enrollment and a maximum of up to 3.5 years in the Ph.D. program.

5. Passed the comprehensive examination (as per university norms).

6. Ph.D. synopsis/ research proposal approved by the Board of Advanced Studies and Research (BASR) or equivalent statutory body of the university.

7. Valid acceptance letter from a foreign university/supervisor listed in the top 200 QS world universities’ general ranking of 2023.

GRANT PROVISION

PHEC will provide funds to meet the following expenses:

1) Bench fee (as per actual max. up to Rs.250,000/-)

2) Living allowance/stipend as prescribed.

3) Air ticket (as per actual max. up to Rs.130,000/-)
