Pakistan Railways intends to hire the services of Retired Railway / Government Officers for the formulation of a new Scrap Sale Policy for a period of 4-months. Method of selection “Least Cost” will be used. Positions Announced:
1. Consultant
Qualification required for the following vacant position: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Experience required for the following vacant position: At least 25 years experience of working in BPS-17 (or above) in Pakistan Railways. Must have experience in inventory management for repair and maintenance of Rolling Stock. Must have a fair knowledge of Policy issues regarding Scrap.
2. Consultant
Qualification required for the following vacant position: 16 years education or more. Experience: Retired Government Officer
Experience required for the following vacant position: At least 25 years experience of working in BPS-17 (or above). Must be well versed with the Government Procurement process and knowledge of Inventory Management and store disposal including Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) Rules.
Age limit required for the following vacant positions and jobs: Maximum 65 years
