Positions Announced:
1. GM Procurement
Qualification / Experience required for the following vacant position: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain/Logistics, or equivalent experience 5+ years of the supply chain, or procurement work experience PPRA workshops/training and other procurement certifications would be given credit.
Purpose of the role: Is to design, develop and implement the Procurement strategy and operations in order to maximize process efficiency and productivity within the parameters of the applicable legal/regulatory framework. Key Responsibilities Lead the development and implementation of PCB’s Procurement Strategy, and design processes and procedures to support business goals. Lead development & management of the Procurement budget in line with the business goals. Ensure that procurement is efficient and cost-efficient. Develop and ensure implementation of policies, procedures, and systems that are both, optimized and in strict compliance and adherence to, the PPRA rules and applicable regulations Lead the development and preparation of tender documents, conduct pre-bid workshops, compile comparative statements of bids, and secure specific approvals as and when required. Reduce reliance on single suppliers.
Skills Required Should be a quick learner with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Ability to conduct detailed procedures in a time-constrained environment Good written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills Strong sense of time organization and urgency Able to work independently and within a team
