Positions Vacant: 

1. Director “Scientific Advice in Government Unit”

The number of vacant posts: 1 vacant post

Basic Pay Scale: Equivalent to BPS – 20

Qualification / Experience required for the job: Science policy credentials with ideally a Ph.D. Degree in Natural / Social Sciences and high-level skills and experience in upgradations of existing policies or completion of New Policies of importance in GOP.

2. Editor 

The number of vacant posts: 1 vacant post

Basic Pay Scale: Equivalent to BPS – 18

Qualification / Experience required for the job: Masters / M.Phil / Ph.D. Degree in IT Management Sciences and exposures in the supervision of matters related to compilation and editing of Scientific Journals and Science Policy Documentations.

3. Technical Assistants / IT Expert

The number of vacant posts: 2 vacant posts

Basic Pay Scale: Equivalent to BPS – 15

Qualification / Experience required for the job: Masters Degree in T Management Sciences with exposures in editing/compilation of policy documentation.

4. Internees

The number of vacant posts: 3 vacant post

Basic Pay Scale: Salary of Rs 20,000 / – per month

Qualification / Experience required for the job: Fresh postgraduate Research Student in Natural and Social Sciences to be inducted on a quarterly basis.
