National University of Modern Languages Islamabad requires the services of the following staff on a contract basis. The qualification and experience required to fill the following vacant posts are mentioned as follows. Positions Vacant:
1. Computer Programming Officer (on contract)
Qualification / Experience required for the following vacant position: Master’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field with at least five years’ experience in Computer programming. OR BSCS/BESE (Min 16 years of Education) or equivalent Having a minimum of 3 – 4 years of professional experience of developing Applications in an education institution / University. Strong background in Object-Oriented Development techniques. Configuration, management, and troubleshooting of Oracle, MYSQL, and SQL Server databases are also required. Experience with web services, WCF, and service-oriented architecture. Experience in heterogeneous environments viz. Linux/Unix and agile software development methodology will be given preference.
2. Electronic Supervisor (on contract)
Qualification / Experience required for the following vacant position: Diploma of Polytechnic Institute or equivalent qualifications with 5 years’ experience of Electronics equipment.
3. Telephone Operator (on contract)
Qualification / Experience required for the following vacant position: Matriculation with two years experience as Telephone Operator in a Government Department/ Autonomous Organization.
