Positions Announced:
1. Pro Vice-Chancellor
Qualification: For a comprehensive university, a Ph.D. in any discipline and a good academic record.
Research: Excellent research publication record that, at a minimum, meets the criteria for appointment as a Professor in the university with a minimum of 20 peer-reviewed HEC-recognized publications. Preference would be given to journals indexed in the HRJS system of HEC (https://hjrs.gov.pk)
Experience: Experience of at least 20 years of teaching/research in any HEC-recognized university. At least five years of administrative experience (after completion of PhD) in the field of higher education. The candidate with experience in executing research projects, senior supervisory/leadership, including the chairperson, Dean, quality assurance, international linkages, etc., with a record of progressive responsibility and authority.
A strategic plan of not more than 800 words be attached to the application. Terms & Conditions: (a) Tenure: Three years (Non-renewable) as per provision of the Balochistan University Act 2022.
Age: Not more than (65) sixty-five years till the closing date of submission of applications;
