Positions Vacant: 

1. Senior Advisor (Technical)

Eligibility: Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent education from any reputable institution duly recognized from HEC. Candidates having higher qualification or foreign degrees may be given preference. Must be registered with PEC. A Minimum of 22 years of relevant post-qualification experience in the Power Sector. Must have relevant knowledge of Generation, Transmission, and Distribution Sectors of Pakistan. To be able to assist the Authority in issuing guidelines and standards operating procedures to promote the development of a market. including trading, in accordance with the national electricity policy and the national electricity plan. Have experience in tendering advice to public sector projects; and have knowledge/experience of Renewable Energy. Must have excellent statistical and analytical skills.

2. Senior Advisor (M&E).

Eligibility: Masters degree in Engineering or equivalent education from any reputable institution duly recognized by HEC. Candidates having MBA or Law Degree or higher qualification or foreign degrees may be given preference. Engineers must be registered with PEC. A Minimum of 22 years of relevant post-qualification experience in the Power Sector. Must have relevant knowledge of Generation, Transmission, and Distribution Sectors of Pakistan. Should be equipped with skills to specify and enforce performance standards for licensed entities of power sector of Pakistan or registered under the NEPRA Act. To be able to assist the Authority in issuing guidelines and standards operating procedures to promote the development of a market, including trading, in accordance with the national electricity policy and the national electricity plan.

3. Senior Advisor (Finance)

Eligibility: MBA (Finance)/ MS in Finance/ Masters in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Chartered / Cost & Management Accountant (Fellow Members) or equivalent education from any reputable institution duly recognized from HEC. Candidates having higher qualification or foreign degrees may be given preference.

4. Legal Advisor

Eligibility: Masters of Law or Barrister of Law from any reputable institution duly recognized from HEC. Candidates having higher qualification or foreign degrees may be given preference. Must be enrolled with relevant bar councils. Must have a High Court License.

5. Legal Advisor (Govt. Liaison)

Eligibility: Masters of Law or Barrister of Law from any reputable institution duly recognized from HEC. Candidates having higher qualification or foreign degrees may be given preference. Must be enrolled with relevant bar councils. Must have a High Court License. Must have a minimum of 16 years of post-qualification practicing experience of legal drafting/litigation, Assembly & Senate Business, Government Liaison, Expertise in Human Resource. Administration, preparing and responding Audit Paras and representing the organization in DAC/PAC Meeting, relevant power sector/DISCOs, Regulatory Authority, and adjudication with a reputable law firm or organization. Candidates working with Federal Government Organizations will be given preference. Must have a minimum of at least 2 years’ experience at the Ministerial Level.

6. Consultant Hydropower

Eligibility: Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent education from any reputable institution duly recognized from HEC. Candidates having higher qualification or foreign degrees may be given preference. Must be registered with PEC. A Minimum of 16 years of relevant post-qualification experience in the Power Sector, most of which should be dealing with the development, design, and operation of the hydropower project. Involved in the preparation of feasibility studies, Power Purchase Agreements, and costing issues of hydropower projects. Should have a thorough knowledge of different technologies and their operating characteristics with regard to location i.e. high head run of the river and performance under storage availability.

7. Consultant Transmission & Distribution

Eligibility: Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent education from any reputable institution duly recognized from HEC. Candidates having higher qualification or foreign degrees may be given preference. Must be registered with PEC.

8. Assistant Director (Legal)

Eligibility: Sixteen years of education of Law from any reputable institution duly recognized from HEC. Candidates having higher qualification or foreign degrees may be given preference. Must be enrolled with relevant bar councils.

9. Drivers

Eligibility: Primary, Must have a valid driving license. Candidates having relevant experience in the Public Sector Organizations will be given preference. Should know how to write and fill log-books in English.

10. Naib Qasid

Eligibility: Primary. Candidates having relevant experience in the Public Sector Organizations will be given preference. Must have a valid driving license.
