Positions Announced: 

1. Manager —Climate Change (01 positions, Islamabad based)

Qualification / Experience: Master’s degree in forestry and/or Environment Social Sciences or MBA from an HEC-recognized institution.
Overall professional experience of twelve years with three to five years in climate change, climate finance, donor-funded projects in this field, forestry/or environment sectors in Pakistan. Demonstrated experience of working on senior-level positions on the livelihood or/and socio-economic improvement initiatives in the green sector. Experience in design, implementation, and M&E of the forestry sector, sustainable tourism projects in government or NGO or donor sectors. Excellent communication and writing skills.

2. Deputy Manager – Forestry & Livelihood (01 positions, Islamabad based)

Qualification / Experience: Masters’ degree or equivalent in relevant field like Forestry/Environment, Social Sciences or MBA from HEC recognized university. Overall professional experience of eight years with two to three years working in forestry and /or environment sectors. Demonstrated experience of working on forestry sector projects with a focus on the livelihood or/and socio-economic development within forest communities in the green sector. Experience in implementation and M&E of forestry sector projects in government or donor sectors and producing high-quality reports and M&E documents for government or donor agencies. Excellent Communication and Writing Skills.

3. Deputy Manager— Fund Management Appraisal (01 positions, Islamabad based)

Qualification / Experience: Master’s degree in Project Management and/or Project Appraisal or MBA from an HEC-recognized institution. Overall professional experience of eight years working with two to three years working in project appraisal, M&E, and performance assessment must be in the areas of climate change, biodiversity, and/or environment sectors in Pakistan. Experience in working with provincial/regional Planning and Development departments will be an added advantage. Demonstrated experience of working on senior-level project appraisal and M&E roles at federal or provincial levels will be an added advantage. Experience in appraisal and M&E preferably of climate change mitigation and adaptation sector project in government or NGO or donor sectors. Experience in working on Grant-based projects in the public or non-government sector with a focus on climate change mitigation and adaptation. Demonstrated experience in producing high-quality project appraisal and M&E reports/documents for government or donor agencies. Excellent writing and communication skills.
