Responsibilities:
Dealing with the national. international agencies. departments. regulatory authorities. state institutions and other ministries and divisions for effective follow-up of water resources and power projects for timely completion and commissioning as per schedule and guidelines. Any other assignment. assigned by the Ministry of Water Resources / or the Federal Government. Assisting the Federal Government in planning. execution, operating, and maintenance of water and hydel power resources of Pakistan under the mandate given in the Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority Act. 1958 (West Pakistan Act No. XXXI of 1958).
Qualification / Experience: The candidate must; (a) possess a graduate degree in engineering from a university or institution recognized by the Higher Education Commission: or (b) a master’s degree in business administration or management, or public administration or finance or an equivalent degree to these from a university or institution recognized by the Higher Education Commission: or (c) be a member of a recognized body of professional accountants: or (d) be a civil servant in BPS-21 or above. or an officer of an equivalent pay scale in the armed forces of Pakistan. The candidate must possess at the time of his appointment professional experience of not less than twenty-five years with at least eight years experience at a senior or top managerial or administrative level post.
