University of the Punjab, Lahore. The duration of the project is for three years and the project work includes molecular cloning, gene expression, large-scale production of the enzymes, and their application studies. The appointments will be made purely on a contractual basis.
Positions Announced:
1. Research Associate / Post-Directorial Fellow
Fresh Ph.D. in Biological Sciences (Molecular Biology / Biotechnology / Biochemistry or other relevant fields). Those having experience in mass-scale production of recombinant enzymes. protein purification, crystallization, and familiarity with FPLC HPLC and TLC are encouraged to apply. Preference will be given to the candidates who have qualified International GRE Subject Test.
2. Ph.D. Student
MPhil or equivalent in Biological Sciences (Molecular Biology / Biotechnology / Biochemistry or other relevant fields) with good grades. and must have enrolled for Ph.D. Preference will be given to those who have enrolled in a Ph.D. at the University of Punjab and have related experience in recombinant DNA work/gene expression/protein synthesis and purification.
