Positions Announced:
1. PROFESSOR (B – 21)
Eligibility: Ph.D. in Law or equivalent Degree from an HEC recognized University / Institution. L.L.M., J.D. in Law or equivalent Degree from an HEC recognized University / Institution. 15 Years Teaching / Research Experience in HEC recognized University or Post-Graduate Institution or Professional Experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization. OR 10 Years Post Ph.D. Teaching / Research Experience in an HEC recognized University or a Postgraduate Institution or Professional Experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization. 17 Years Teaching / Research Experience (with at least 8-Years’ Experience after L.L.M./J.D. or equivalent Degrees from an HEC recognized University or Post-Graduate Institution or Professional Experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization. The Applicant must have 15 Research Publications with at least 5 Publications in the last 5 Years in HEC recognized/approved Journals.
2. ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR: (B-20)
Eligibility: Ph.D. in Law or equivalent Degree from an HEC recognized University / Institution. L.L.M., J.D. in Law or equivalent Degree from an HEC recognized University / Institution. 10 Years Teaching / Research Experience in HEC recognized University or Post-Graduate Institution or Professional Experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization. Note: After 30 June 2015 at least 4 Years Post Ph.D. Level Experience in HEC recognized University or Post-Graduate Institution or Professional Experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization. OR 05 Years Post Ph.D. Teaching / Research Experience in an HEC recognized University or a Postgraduate Institution or Professional Experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization.

Applications are required to be submitted on prescribed forms, obtainable from the Office of the Deputy Registrar (Establishment, Teaching), University of Karachi (First Floor, New Administration Building) on Payment of Rs. 3,000/- through Pay Order in favor of the University of Karachi. Six Copies of the Application along with Attested Photocopies of Marks Certificates Degrees/Diplomas/Certificates, Experience Certificates, CNIC, and Reprints of Publications, if any, must reach the Registrar, University of Karachi, University Road, Karachi-75270, Pakistan on or before 18th MAY 2021. Candidates requesting application forms by post must send a Pay Order of Rs. 800/- within Pakistan and Rs. 2,500/- or equivalent from outside Pakistan drawn in favor of Registrar, University of Karachi, Karachi-75270, Pakistan along with their written request.
