Qualification required for the following vacant position: Ph.D. in Agronomy / Plant Breeding from a well-reputed institution in the country or abroad.
Experience required for the following vacant position: 20 years of experience in rice research and development.
Skills and other requirements: Understands well the constraints of low rice yield and how to bridge up the existing yield gap. 5 years experience in up-scaling of rice production technologies at farm level. An impressive communication skills in written and oral. 20 research publications in well-reputed journals. The publications in rice R&D will be given preference. Ability to work as a team member.
