Positions Announced:
1. Director Legal
Qualifications: Law Graduate (LL.B) from H.E.C recognized university/institution. LL.M /Bar at Law or Higher qualifications would get preference. Specialization in Labour Laws / ADR would also get preference.
Experience required for the following position: 15 years with at least 10 years of High Courts practice as a lawyer/advocate. Supreme Court practice would also be preferable. The candidate must have legal practice experience/knowledge of Electricity, Regulatory & Corporate, Civil & Criminal, Commercial & Contract, Services & Labour Laws, etc.
Job Brief: Consulting and handling all of the Company’s legal processes/issues. Developing company policy and position on legal issues. Researching, anticipating, and guarding the company against legal risks. Consult and handle all corporate, Electricity, Regulatory, Compliance, Services & Labour, Revenue, Commercial & Contract, PPRA & Procurement legal issues, lawsuits, coordination with panel lawyers, etc. Develop company policy and position on legal issues Research, anticipate and guard company against legal risks Guide management & BoD and ensure compliance with rules and regulations Structure, draft and review reports and other legal documents Represent the company in legal proceedings (courts of law/tribunals / legal forums, etc.) Draft and administer all contracts Negotiate, deals and attend company meetings (if required).
