Job Description: 

Kohat University of Science and Technology invites applications from suitable candidates for the positions of Associate Professor (TTS/BPS-19) in the following subjects:

Positions Vacant: 

1. Associate Professor

Scale / Basic Pay Scale / Grade: (TTS / BPS – 19)

Subjects: 

1. Mathematics

2. Computer Science

3. Physics

4. Botany

5. Biotechnology

6. Microbiology

7. Zoology

8. Chemistry

9. Pharmacy

Qualification / Eligibility Criteria:

For TTS: As per the eligibility criteria of the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan for the post of TTS Associate Professor (see www.hec.gov.pk).

For BPS (only candidates currently employed on BPS can apply):

a. Ph.D. or an equivalent degree in the relevant field from an HEC recognized  University/Degree Awarding Institution (DAD.

b. 10 years teaching/research experience in HEC recognized university(s)IDAI(s)  offering 16-year education or professional experience in the relevant field in national/international organization(s), in BPS-18/equivalent grade or above

OR

05 years Post-PhD teaching /research experience in HEC recognized University(s)  or DAI(s) offering 16 years of education or professional experience in the relevant field in a national international organization, in BPS-18/equivalent grade or above.

c. 10 research publications in HEC recognized journals for the subject with at least 04 publications during the last 05 years.
