Job Description:
1. Fire Tender Operator
Qualification / Experience: FSC (Pre-Engineering) /DAE Chemical/ MechanicaV Electrical NEBOSH/IOSH or other International accredited qualifications will be preferred 7 – 10 years of experience. Having valid HTV driving license (DLIMS verified).
Job Requirements: Having experience of HTV fire tender operation in fertilizer, oil & gas, refinery, petrochemical or Rescue 1122 sector. Able to manoeuver the fire tender in congested & high hazard areas, operate the firefighting pump system, fire monitors and firefighting foam system. Operate, maintain and inspect emergency response equipment & vehicles, Provide immediate response to emergency & Non-emergency calls including chemical spill, confined space rescue, fire, etc. Act as a standby person for confined space entry. Can work indoor/outdoor & in harsh environment. Excellent grip on the operation of fire alarm system, mobile foam unit, dry chemical & carbon-di-oxide fire extinguishers & trolleys. Having experience of self-contained breathing apparatus, Firefighting & chemical suits. Can operate a self-contained breathing apparatus compressor, CO2 filling compressor, dry chemical fire extinguisher refilling machine, smoke ventilator. Exposures might include, ammonia, chlorine, acid, caustic, smoke, noxious odors, fumes, toxic chemicals, caustic chemicals, airborne particulates, possible risk of electrical shock or falling objects. Knowledge of international (NFPA / OSHA) & local firefighting & prevention standards will be added advantage.
