Abdus Salam School of Mathematical Sciences, Government College University Lahore invites applications from eligible, dynamic, and hardworking candidates to fill the following vacant posts mentioned as follows.
Positions Vacant:
1. Director-General
Pay Package: MP – 1
Qualification / Experience required for the job: Ph.D. in Mathematics from an internationally reputed university. Candidates having a Ph.D. in mathematical Sciences from an internationally reputed university may also apply. 25 years of experience in internationally reputed universities/research organizations. Minimum 20 publications in international research journals with good / recognized citations. Recognization in an international community of mathematical research. Administrative experience of managing major educational, research institution/organization/department.
2. Professor
Basic Pay Scale / Pay Package: Equivalent to BS – 21 / TTS
Qualification / Experience required for the job: For details regarding qualification and eligibility criteria for the post of Profesor, the interested candidates are requested to visit the HEC website (www.hec.gov.pk)
Contract Duration: The initial appointment will be of 3 years on a contract basis, extendable subject to his/her satisfactory performance.
3. Finance and Administration Officer
Basic Pay Scale / Pay Package: BS – 18
Qualification / Experience required for the job: CA / MBA / M.Com at least 2nd Division with 8 years of experience in Accounts.
Age Limit: The max-age limit required for the job is 35 years.
4. Computer Programmer
Basic Pay Scale / Pay Package: BS – 18
Qualification / Experience required for the job: Masters/BS (Hons) degree (16 years of education) in Computer Science the 2nd division from a recognized University. Preference will be given to highly experienced persons in Programming.
Age Limit: The max-age limit required for the job is 35 years.
