1. CEO
Description of the job: A private, self-sustaining SECP registered R&D company based in Karachi, undertaking innovative Research & Development in the maritime domain for local and overseas customers looking for a CEO with in-depth understanding and relevant experience to lead maritime technologies business setup, focusing on platforms, acoustic sensors, Link-based situational awareness systems, nay sensors and above water sensors, etc. The candidate should have a detailed understanding of the maritime market segment and competitive local and foreign players to strategies future business models for expanding current Product Lines and customer, base. The CEO will function as per outlined policies and procedures. The job will be full-time with an initial contract of 01 years which with an option to extend.
Qualification: Masters Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Business from HEC / equivalent recognized University. 4 years Engineering Graduate degree from HEC/ equivalent recognized University. 05 years at Senior Management level in Public or Private sector or similar Defense Set Ups, working in maritime technologies as stated above. Should have a detailed understanding of local/regional maritime market segments, various technology companies competing in this domain, and their product lines. Should be conversant with Defence/ Public Sector security, financial, and procurement procedures.
Note: The position is based in Karachi. However, the company reserves the right to relocate the candidate anywhere in Pakistan. In-service candidates should apply with NoC from the current organization. Only short-listed, candidates will be called for an interview.
