Positions Announced:
1. Manager Technical
An advanced degree of Min: 15 years of education in a similar discipline (Civil) or field of study from a recognized university. Minimum Experience of 15 years in the relevant field. Experience in donor-funded projects shall be an important advantage. Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Urdu to develop and process
2. Junior Environmental Safeguard Specialist
Master’s Degree in Environmental Sciences / Engineering (or relevant discipline) from a recognized university. 5 years of relevant experience in preparation and implementation and monitoring/supervision of environmental impact assessment and environmental management plan of various projects, preferably in the municipal services sector. Well-versed with national and international standards for Environment Quality. Experience in occupational health and safety and community health and safety is preferred. Experience in similar work on World Bank financial projects using the World Bank Safeguard Policies and EHS Guidelines and procedures will be a strong advantage. Well-developed planning and organization skills to manage environment safeguards for multi-sectoral municipal projects. Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Urdu to deliver complex technical documents, and reports. papers and recommendations for the project.
3. Tax Policy Advisor / Manager (DIPT)
Master (16 years of education in finance, management, or accounting from an HEC-recognized university. 8 years of relevant post-qualification experience in tax policy management/advisory. Good communication skills and experience working with the Sindh government. Prior experience working with Local Council, donor-funded, and public sector projects will be accorded due weightage. Demonstrated Computer Skills (Proficiency in using computer desktop applications MS Office Word Excel and PowerPoint).
4. Support Staff
Support staff with relevant experience in the field.
