Positions Announced:
1. Project Officer – Climate Change Adaption
Qualification / Experience required for the following position:
Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences, Disaster Management or International Development Studies, or Social Sciences. Minimum 03 years of experience working with INGO% or UN agencies in the field of DRM, CCA, and experience with community resilience-building processes. Proven experience in mainstreaming/integrating climate change adaptation into humanitarian response planning, DRM/DRR projects, and operations. Technical field experience in DRM/DRR, EMR-related community-based programming. Proven experience in working closely with Government of Pakistan entities, INGOs, CSOs, their coordination network, and platforms, and in forming evidence-based partnerships with relevant stakeholders. Knowledge of and experience with organizational development processes would be an asset. Demonstrable experience with urban DRR/ Urban humanitarian action is considered an added advantage. Strong English writing, presentation, and negotiation skills. –
